Age Is Just A Number
Age Is Just A Number?
So glad you are here. 🤍
Last weekend I climbed my first Alps. 🏔️
And to be honest: the climb was anything but easy. Somewhere halfway up, a group of hikers caught up with me. Average age? Sixties.
They walked past me with so much energy that at first I thought they were joking.
Then another grandmother. Then a grandfather with poles who greeted me with "easy now, kid, the summit is not running away". They made it to the top - with far less feeling that their lungs were about to explode than me.
Every rule we know about age was made up.
"You are too old for that." "It is too late to start now." "That is not for your age anymore."
Who wrote that? And why did we believe them?
Those people on the mountain clearly never got the memo. And they were the happiest people I saw all week - probably the healthiest too.
So let us agree on one thing: if anyone ever tells you it is too late for something - do not believe them. The proof is out there hiking the Alps.
Which decade are you conquering?
Last time we got to know each other through what you do. Today - tell me which kilometre you are on. Click your decade:
The decade when you think everything has to happen right now.
It does not - you have time, and that is your superpower.
The decade when you stop apologising for the things you love.
The best is still ahead of you - and you finally know what you want.
The decade when you realise the "rules" were only ever a suggestion.
Half the people I met at the summit started hiking exactly now.
The decade they say "life is over".
The grandmothers in the Alps have a good laugh at that - you are just warming up.
The decade of my heroes from that climb.
If anyone is proof that "too late" does not exist - it is you. Hats off. ⛰️
Now, let me bring this to our own field…
"Sweet scents are for young girls. Heavy scents are for older ladies. At that age you wear something more serious."
Same memo, different signature. And just as wrong.
Scents have no age. What matters is how you wear it and that you wear what you love. Everything else is somebody else's opinion.
So we sorted our perfumes by character - pick by yourself, not by your ID card.
Freshness, citrus, sea air - the energy of the first step.
Floral notes that do not ask about your age - only about your mood.
Sweet, playful, noticeable. Yes - at 60 too. Especially at 60.
Deep, woody, calm. A character that does not prove itself - you simply feel it.
One thing hardly anyone knows
Does a perfume "age" with you?
The same perfume does not smell the same on you at 25 and at 55 - and that is the magic, not a flaw.
Your skin changes over the years, so a scent you wear for decades slowly becomes only yours.
That is why nobody can copy your signature scent - even if they buy the same bottle.
The summit is not running away - but there is no reason to wait either. 🧡
